A London man was arrested after his 2-year-old daughter overdosed on an anxiety medication Friday afternoon.

The Laurel County sheriff’s office said the toddler managed to get and take about 18 Ativan pills while being cared for by her father, Joshua Richard Smith, 30.

The deputies found Smith, who said they were under influence, heading east on Ky. 192. When she tried to get information, the Sheriff's office said that he had "created a dysfunction near a company and curses the delegates ".

He was arrested at 18:30. and was brought to the Lawrence County Detention Center for the child's first criminal abuse, driving, arrest, disorder, and threat, among other things, traffic-related costs.
